IPs Addresses (EU).
In normal operations, our analytics service records your IPs. An IP does not tie the visit to a natural person, however it is considered ‘personal information’ under GDPR. For that reason we anonymize all IPs from EU.
When an IP is anonymized, we remove the last part of the IP, so for instance 255.123.201.023 becomes 255.123.201.XXX. This makes the geo-localization of our visitors a bit less precise.
